Colin (supported by Pat) has been volunteering for over 3 decades

Once in a 'Blue Moon', when there are five Wednesdays in the month,
the club schedules a social outing with partners.
This month it was a very special Super Blue Blood Moon and eclipse,
Members, partners and friends gathered at Ricciardo's Ristorante in Duncraig,
where they enjoyed a sumptuous meal and a great social evening.
A number of members slipped outside several times during
the evening to check on the progress of the moon.

Another great rotary project was highlighted by PDG John Iriks
 at our meeting last night.
The Rotary WA Cordblood bank was established
as a Rotary Centennial Project in 2005.
Stem cell rich blood is ethically collected from the
discarded umbilical cords of healthy new born babies
for future use in life-saving therapies.
Over $6.5 million has been raised since its inception
and it is now managed by the Australian Red Cross Blood Service
in conjunction with Rotary representatives.
